RSS full form is Really Simple Syndication. In the world of technology, RSS is a standard for syndicating web content. It’s used to distribute news feeds headlines and other updates in XML format across different platforms like desktop computers or smartphones!
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video in a standardized format. RSS enables publishers to syndicate content automatically. A standard XML file format allows the content to be published on different websites and read by web crawlers and aggregators.
The RSS format was created in 1995 by Netscape employee Dave Winer, who also founded the company that developed the first RSS reader, FeedDemon. The original name of the format was Rich Site Summary, but it was later renamed to RSS because it was not only used for summaries.
How it works
RSS is a syndication format. It’s used to publish frequently updated content in a standardized format which can be read by applications that ‘subscribe’ to the RSS feed. When you create an RSS feed, you provide a list of items (usually headlines and summaries) along with a link to a location to find each full item. Any RSS-aware application can subscribe to a feed, fetch the items and display them.

RSS Ideology, History, and Controversies
The RSS’s ideology is based on the idea of selfless service to India, according to NPR. They believe that India is a Hindu nation and that all Hindus should unite to create a strong, unified country. They also prioritize traditional Indian culture and values, as stated by the official website.
The RSS was formed in 1925 to combat British influence in Indian politics and society, according to The Guardian. The group also wanted to create a strong Hindu identity to unite the country. They were banned by the British government in 1948 but reemerged after Indian independence in 1947.
The RSS has been involved in several controversies, including the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. They were also accused of violence against Muslims during the 2002 Gujarat riots in India, according to NPR. Critics even call them “extremists” and “fundamentalist Hindus,” according to The Guardian.
